THE ANTHOLOGIES

L.E.T.H.A.L.
A Combination of weird, wonderful and wacky short stories!

AMAZON
A sharp, witty, and sometimes heart-warming selection of stories. Original retellings, hilarious witches, tales that taste of old legends, murderers getting caught or getting away with it, dark comedies, mad scientists, tragic love-affairs, fantasy, and magic realism -
L.E.T.H.A.L. has it all.

I  have decided to publish a number of my short stories in an anthology entitled L.E.T.H.A.L.  It's been a longish road to get to this point. I was originally going to publish this anthology in 2019 under the title, 'XLP#304', one of the characters in a short story. But I felt there weren't really enough stories in the book. (There are now 42! Definitely value for money, I think!) On the 2019 version, I had a purple-ish cover with a skull on it, which I liked...so I kept the skull...and the purple. The skull is now part of the earring the young lady on the cover (left) is wearing.

I had begun a dedicated writing of short stories as an exercise in deadlines with my own 'Running the Bathwater' stories. I have a large bath whose taps are more on the dribbling side than the gushing one. I had to start and finish the story before the bath was ready. I then discovered the Writers Write 12 Short Stories in 12 Months Challenge. I've done it for three years now.  So, what with short stories scattered all over the place, I think I should have enough (42!) for a decent sized book! A 'purchase link will go up here any day now.

I Lie For a Reason
More weird, wonderful and wacky short stories!

I'm still bringing these stories to life. Sorry. Four down, three dozen more to go!
